Projects and Initiatives
We believe that music expresses universal values, which belong to everyone and that those of us in cultural organisations, have a duty to contribute to the growth of our community and area through the spreading of musical culture. For this, the Magna Grecia Orchestra has developed annual events to promote musical culture to the general public and in schools. Note critiche - Music arrives in town Note Critiche is an event which, by means of a concert, in which journalists, musical critics and an audience of the general public can engage in debate. The purpose of the initiative is to use the participation of experts to bring people closer to understanding music and spread musical culture even to those are not involved in the musical field The first editions of Note Critiche were managed by Maestro Giorgio Vidusso, and among other public figures who participate in the Magna Grecia Orchestra initiative each year are Enrico Girardi, Michele Suozzo, Dario Salvatori and Tito Schipa Jr representing cultural institutions and the media, including RAI (Radio and TV) and the newspaper, Corriere della Sera.
