OUR STORY

Our dream, our reality
Our story began twenty years ago thanks to the efforts of a group of musicians motivated by the wish to realise a dream: to give ourselves and  our country's young talent  the opportunity for self-expression and the chance to emerge and make a mark in the world through music. This journey has continued over 20 years thanks to a dual impetus of enthusiasm and energy that helps us to support each other in turn and to continually set ourselves new challenges.

Our friends
Over the years, we have shared ideas and enthusiasm with many important conductors and exceptional soloists among whom are Bellugi, Agiman, Nanut, Cassuto, Ventura, Kantorov, Bruson, Maggio Ormezowsky, Maisky, Lupo, Ciccolini, Solenghi, Stewart, Canino, Bloch, Elio of "Elio and the storie tese", Bollani, Noa, Feidman, Amoyal, Krylov, Devia, Ughi, Bosso, Barra, Mariozzi, Desderi and Luis Bacalov whom we particularly  thank  for taking on the role of principal conductor, which he has carried out since June 2005. With these and with many friends who have remained loyal to us over the years, we have been able to take our music to Japan, Germany, Austria, France, Switzerland, Mexico and Spain and have aired our voice  on the Rai broadcasting network.

Music belongs to everyone
We believe that music expresses universal values which belong to everyone and that those of us who are involved in cultural organisations have the duty to be active in the promotion and diffusion of musical culture. For this reason, ever since our conception,  we have offered a repertoire that allows room from crossover music up to the most highbrow and less accessible compositions.  We have organised initiatives, discussions, meetings and public encounters, taking music among the people and to schools.

Living music
We  do all this without forgetting our point of departure and early beginnings.  We aim never to forget the ever more important higher goals and objectives  which every orchestra dreams of reaching. This is where we are at present and we wish to live our musical creed in the future by constantly searching for what only music transcends.
